On Wednesday 17th July, in gloriously sunny weather, the CLH Ladies and Vets sections went head to head in the annual competition for the Ringsell Shield. Ten members of each section played each other in singles match play and, for the fourth year running, the Ladies were victorious with a comfortable win of 7 matches to 3.
The ’return’ competition will take place on 2 October when the Ladies and Vets play with their opponent in a greensomes stableford pairings competition.
