Festive Florida Scramble
Thirty-eight members and guests braved the mist and the mud on Saturday morning to play in the Festive Florida Scramble. The final scores were all very close but the winners were Henry, Dave, Martin and Jamie with George, Alison, Dan and Nathan coming a close second, just one point behind. Prizes were presented to the winners and runners-up by Dave Hankin, the new Men’s Captain.
After a chance to warm up with a drink and snack, the draw for the Christmas Prize Draw was made. This year we were able to offer more than forty prizes thanks to the generosity of our members who donated the vast majority.
The day proved to be very successful with a total of £583 plus a significant bar profit raised towards the refurbishment of the clubhouse.
